I’m not a new copywriter with some sort of course I’m trying to sell. I’m a traditional copywriter running my own business, and I write marketing, sales and advertising copy for my clients.
I have been a copywriter in the advertising industry, for graphic design firms, and for marketing companies. Sales managers have hired me to be a copywriter for their sales departments because I understand channels of distribution. Or ashamed to be honest. (And no, I don’t think it was a simpler time at all.)
